What is Counselling?

Counselling is a space where you can come and talk to me about whatever issues you are facing. It doesn’t matter how big or small they are, I am all ears. In our session/s you will have the space to openly discuss whatever it is that is bothering you, and we can discuss what you need. Sometimes you might just need to vent, other times you might need an objective opinion or strategies to use in your life.

My approach to counselling:

My goal is to provide a space where you feel heard, understood and can get an objective, non judgemental view to help guide you to a place of inner peace and resolution. I also provide you with tried and tested strategies that I personally use to help you be more present in your life, be a better communicator, be able to work with your emotions not against them and be able to tap into your intuition so that you feel more grounded and joy in your life and ultimately remember your worth and the love that you are.
 
I use a individualised and holistic to help you, some of the therapies I work with are:

 

Online Counselling:

All sessions are online via a safe and secure video conferencing platform called Zoom.
The great thing about online therapy is that sessions can be done in your home, hotel room, office, wherever you are that’s distraction free and comfortable. Online therapy also:
  • eliminates travel time
  • avoids stress/anxiety about getting to appointments on time
  • is available to anyone anywhere

What do I need for online counselling?

  • A good wifi connection (must be able to stream tv shows, Netflix without any issues)
  • A computer, tablet or phone with a camera and a microphone (most have these in built)
  • A quiet, comfortable and private room where you will not be disturbed
  • Zoom (video conferencing software or app, its free and easy to set up)

FAQs about online counselling:

Is online therapy as effective as in person therapy?

Yes, there is no difference and it is much more convenient and comfortable.

Is online therapy suitable for everyone?

Online therapy is not suitable for anyone in a crisis situation e.g. suicidal or having psychotic symptoms. Please call your local suicide hotline, crisis assessment team (CAT) at your local hospital, or emergency services (000 in Australia).

Single Sessions: AUD$110

Packages:

  • New clients – Receive 3x sessions for AUD $240
  • 5x sessions for the price of 4 – AUD $440

*Counselling sessions and packages have been reduced by 20% to support you during this time of uncertainty.
